    Explanation:

    One of the seven important elements of art is space. It can be shallow or deep, open or closed, positive or negative, two-dimensional or three-dimensional and it is important because of the distance between objects and areas that are around.

    Space is also important because of the viewers, if space is good, they can interpret the artwork and the artwork in that way can be pleasing to the eye. Because of the linear perspective, the artist is able to create the illusion of the space and it was changing trough history because that kind of illusion is bringing a three-dimensional perspective.
