The correct answer is wild boars were brought to the United States by humans.

Wild pigs are also known as wild boars are an Old World species and are not local to the United States. The very first wild pigs in the United States arose mainly from the domestic stock brought to North America by the initial European settlers and explorers.

Various years later, the Eurasian wild boar was incorporated into the parts of the United States for the purpose of hunting. Later, inbreeding took place in the regions where Eurasian wild boar and domestic pigs were found in combination in the wild. Due to which various hybrid populations are existing at present in the country.
