    The correct answer is: A. Budding

    This is the asexual reproduction of hydra which involves production of buds in the body wall. When the buds grow enough to be miniature adults and become mature, they break away and the new organism is formed. This can happen every two days if the conditions are good for hydra (enough food). When conditions are harsh, sexual reproduction occurs.
