The answer is promotional stage. This is when the cancer-prone cells are awaiting the right condition to proliferate. This stage is reversible. At this stage, cancer proceeds forward or backward as a function of the balance of promoting and anti-promoting factors. Nutrients from plant-based foods, especially the antioxidants, reverse the promotion stage.
