    Coleoptera is the largest order in existence. The order is made up of about 400,000 species, which represents about 40% of all described insects and approximately 25% of all known animal life forms. New species of coleoptera are also discovered frequently. Thus, Celeoptera is about 25% of all animal species alive today.
