The reason why the enzyme trypsin gets denatured and or deactivated when introduced in the gastric juice of the stomach is that the enzyme can no longer function as it is quite far from its tolerable PH range to function, this great change in pH of trypsin now in the gastric juice of the stomach renders it inactive.
