C and D, Natural gas and Coal.

When these fuels are burned for energy, they produce emission that goes into the atmosphere. Because of the atmospheric blanket, or the ozone layer, these emissions are blocked into the Earth. This is known as the greenhouse effect.

In a greenhouse, heat and sunlight are trapped inside so that plants can grow faster and to be healthier, however, heat being trapped in earth isn't good. It can eventually cause the Earth to overheat, killing plants, animals, and then finally humans.

So, when these emissions are blocked in, it causes the Earth to heat up, thus giving it the title of global warming.
