Vaginal candidiasis is a result of excessive growth of yeast in the vagina that results to itchiness, inflammation or burning sensation when urinating. The nurse must ask the following assessment question when assessing the safety and effectiveness of the drug therapy.

    1. Are you pregnant?

    2. Have you recently taken antibiotic?

    3. Do you have history of Sexually Transmitted Infection?

    4. Do you have white and thick vaginal discharge?

    5. What medications or vitamins did you take regularly?
