If salinity increased, would that affect animal and plant life?

    Yes because the salinity is the amount of salt in the water, which if increased could lead to animals being unable to drink from water sources, such as rivers. While the plants would most likely adapt over a long period of time the still would be affected by the higher salt levels going into their stems.

    Yes salinity can have a great impact on the type of organisms that live in a body of water
