The tuberculosis is a disease caused by a bacterium Mycobacterium tuberculosis.

The bacteria Mycobacterium tuberculosis can be detected in the sputum sample of the patient having tuberculosis. The Mycobacterium tuberculosis is an Acid fast bacteria, hence, on applying Ziehl Neelson stain, the bacteria will be stained in pink to red colour, due to the presence of mycolic acid in their cell wall.

Hence, the slide would represent the presence of pink or red stained bacteria.
