How are fossils used to determine the relative ages of rocks?

    Explanation:

    mainly because if u were to les say time travel and u go back in time to the jurassic period grabbed a fossil and put it somewhere u would remember an analyzed it with a newer on the data would show that the fossil is older than the newer one
