It can be said that the scientists and big portion of the farmers do not see with same eyes the problem with the erosion that is ever growing one. The scientists are fully aware of it, and constantly are warning and giving suggestions as to how to stop or at least minimize the erosion for the long term well being of everyone. The farmers on the other hand (not all but the majority of them) do not share that opinion, very often because they lack the knowledge and education about it, or even because they just don't care. The problem is very big the least developed and the developing countries because new land is constantly cleared for farming, it erodes quickly and is destroyed without any measures taken to stop that, and than the people just continue to clear new land and that goes on and on.
