The relationship among solutions, solutes and solvents are how they are interrelated with one another in a mixture. Moreover, a solution is a combination of one or two solutes and a solvent. A solvent is a substance which is numerous in number and acts as the dissolving agent. A solute then is a substance that is the one dissolved by the solvent, possibly.

For example, Coffee beans (solute) + Hot water (solvent) = coffee (solution).
