DNA uses the nitrogenous base uracil

    Explanation:

DNA or the deoxyribose nucleic acid is one of the biomolecules present in the organisms. DNA is a nucleic acid that acts as genetic material in the organisms.

DNA exists as two strands in which each strand is made of the nucleotide. Each nucleotide is made of a 5 - carbon sugar called deoxyribose, four different types of nitrogenous bases namely - adenine, guanine, cytosine, and thymine and a phosphate group.

The sugar and phosphate molecules form the backbone of the DNA structure whereas the nitrogenous bases are present inside the backbone.

Since the uracil is not present in the DNA molecule but is found in the RNA molecule, therefore, is the correct answer.
