    The respiratory measurement that is useful in identifying the difference of obstructive and restrictive pulmonary dysfunction is that a person with restrictive lung disease is indicative of having to have trouble of expanding the lungs while the obstructive lung disease has trouble of having to exhale air from the lungs.
