Glycolysis, citric acid cycle, electron transport chain

    Explanation:

Cellular respiration is the process of oxidation of nutrients in step wise manner to retrieve energy from them. It has three stages: glycolysis, citric acid cycle, electron transport chain

    a) Glycolysis: The first stage of cellular respiration that breaks down the glucose into pyruvate and occurs in cytoplasm

    b) Kreb's cycle or citric acid cycle: Pyruvate enter Kreb's cycle in form of acetyl CoA and is completely broken down into carbon dioxide and water.

    c) Electron transport chain: the final step of cellular respiration that oxidized NADH and FADH2 formed during glycolysis and Kreb's cycle.
