Calcium phosphate compose of up to 30 percent of calcium oxalate. It is often associated with high urine ph. The nurse then should inform the client to have a balanced diet and eat fruits and vegetables. Also to drink at least 3 liters of water a day preferably alkaline water. The client should limit as well her sodium and oxalate intake and drink the prescribed Potassium citrate medication as ordered.
