Describe the difference between specific and nonspecific immunity.

    Nonspecific immunity is the initial immune reaction against foreign antigens via nonspecific antibodies and immune cells. In contrast, specific immunityinvolves the production of antibodies against a particular antigen.

    Specific immunity is a type of immunity that fights back specific viruses or bacteria.

    nonspecific immunity is is a type of immunity that fights back any type of bacteria. One example of this is your skin.

    Another difference is. The nonspecific response is the first barrier against a pathogen.

    While a specific response remembers a pathogen and can fight it back more easily.
