Both airborn and foodborn desises can be spread via human contact. Both can be prevented with sanitation and quarintine. However, Foodborn desises are consirdably less contagious than airborn desieses. Airborn desises can be spread person to person, thorough (duh) the air. And food born desises are, obviously spread via food, making them harder to contract.
