Plant reproduction is vital in food webs and for ecosystems to thrive. And more importantly, for life to be sustained.

    Explanation:

Animals aren't the only organisms dependent on plants; humans are too. Plants must reproduce in order for there to be more of them and in order for us humans to exist. Not a lot plants means not enough oxygen and food for consumption for both humans and animals. There would be an unbalance in ecosystems. In conclusion, life can't exist without plant reproduction.
