Musashi is training for a triathlon, a timed race that combines swimming, biking, and running. Consider the following sentence: In order to swim for an hour, Musashi must take time away from work, where he earns $11 per hour. This is in addition to paying a $5 entrance fee for the pool.

    The sentence represent how the cost of any product is not only the monetary cost of the product.

    It also includes the opportunity cost, which represent the option a person renounce when consuming or performing an activity.

    In this case it has to chose between work, biking exercise, running or swimming. Each hour he isn't working it lose the $11 dollar

    When going to the pool the cost is not only the $5 entrance fee - It is also the $11 dollar fro mwork and one less hour to train in the other two disciplines.
