Why do companies use the current model of production (using cheap labour in other countries) for clothing. (why/what benefits are there for companies)

    So labor laws that are in place in the US aren’t in place in other countries. This means children can work long hours, as well as adults. This means mass produced goods. The minimum wage is much less than we have here in the US so employees cost less. Using cheap materials also saves money.
