    (A) In business, a Director is a corporate entity or person who oversees the activities or affairs in a department of an organization or firm.

Speaking of how one gets to be a director,

    # a person who is qualified can be newly recruited as the director

    # an old or former employee of the organization or firm can rise to this position.

Example: an efficient and experienced employee working in the Department of Human Resources can be made the director of the department once the seat is vacant and the employee is considered capable.

    (B) "Officer" in this case, needs to be more specific for an explanation to be given to it

    (C) a director can be removed before his or her tenure ends by:

    # Leave of absence

    # Impeachment

    # the leader of the board of directors requesting a resignation from him/her
