Would changing the amount of NaOH used in reaction 1 affect the value obtained for the energy given off per mole of NaOH? Explain.

    Answer : Yes, definitely.

    Explanation : If someone is changing the amount of NaOH used in a reaction and obtains the value for the energy given off for per mole of NaOH it won't be similar if there are some changes made in the concentration definitely it is going to change the energy values.

    As the free energy change is also dependent on the concentration and enthalpy is a entity which is also largely influenced by the change in concentration. There are many terms in energy which are concentration dependent. So, changing the concentration will have impact on the energy value.
