A solution is made by dissolving 0.611 mol of NaCl in 250 g of water. If the molar mass of NaCl is 58.44 g/mol, what is the molality of the solution?

    Molality = moles NaCl / Kg H2O

    250 g (1 Kg / 1000 grams) = 0.250 Kg

    Molality = 0.611 moles / 0.250 Kg = 2.44 molal
