What is the concentration of an Ammonia (NH3) solution when 25.0 g of Ammonia are dissolved in enough water to produce 650.0 mL of solution?

    To find the concentration, use the following formula--> molarity = moles / liters

    liters = 650.0 mL = 0.6500 Liters

    we need to convert the grams to moles using the molar mass of NH3

    molar mass of NH3 = 14.0 + (3 x 1.01) = 17.03 g / mol

    25.0 g NH3 (1 mol / 17.03 grams) = 1.47 mol

    concentration = 1.47 mol / 0.6500 Liters = 2.26 M
