    Answer: Neil Bohr model of atomic structure was a success, but it has these main short comings,

    It was for hydrogen like atoms. The model wasn't able to explain hydrogen spectra.

    Then a noble prize winner Austrian physicist Erwin Schrodinger put forward his Quantum model of atom, which was successful in describing all the short comings of Bohr's Model of atom.
