    71.8 atm

    Solution:

    Data Given:

    Number of Moles = n = 1.0 mol

    Temperature = T = 350 K

    Volume = V = 400 cm³ = 0.4 L

    Gas Constant = R = 0.082057 atm. L. mol⁻¹. K⁻¹

    Formula Used:

    Ideal Gas Equation is given as,

    P V = n R T

    Solving for Pressure (P),

    P = (n R T) : V

    Putting values,

    P = (1.0 mol * 0.082057 atm. L. mol⁻¹. K⁻¹ * 350 K) : 0.4 L

    P = 71.8 atm
