    67 mL

    Explanation:

In each cylinder there is 40.0 mL of water.

    volume of each cube = L * L * L = 3 cm * 3 cm * 3 cm = 27 cm³

when a substance is suspended in a liquid, the substance will displaced liquid equal to its own volume.

    1 cm³ = 1 ml

    27 cm³ = 27 mL

the new water level equal = 40.0 mL + 27 mL = 67 mL in each cylinders
