If energy was included in a chemical reaction, on which side of the equation would it be written for an endothermic reaction?

    It would be on the left, since energy has to be used up in the system! In order for the system to use it, it has to be on the reactant's side before the chemical reaction! Exothermic reactions have energy written on the right, or the product's side!
