A material has a density of 8.9 g per cm cubed. You have six cubic centimeters of the substance. What is the material's mass in grams?

    Density=mass/volume so

    density / 8.9gm/cm^3 and

    volume=6cm^3

    so mass = 8.9*6 = 53.4 grams
