Discuss why two objects of made of the same type of matter at the same starting temperature with different masses increase in temperature at different rates when the same amount of thermal energy is transferred to each object.

    The more mass an object have, the more energy it can absorb before there is an increase in temperature.

    from the formula

    Q = mcΔT

    The more mass, the slower the increase in temperature even if they are made from the same matter
