    The mass of sodium hydroxide in 80 grams per 40 cm^3 is calculated as follows

    we well know 1 dm^3 = 1000cm^3

    if 80grams is in 1000Cm^3

    what about 40 cm^3

    by cross multiplication

    40 cm^3 x80 grams / 1000cm^3 = 3.2 grams
