Why is air pressure greatest at the Earth's surface?

because of the pressure of oxygen

because of the weight of ice crystals

because gravity pulls gas molecules toward the surface

    because of the pressure of oxygen

    Oxygen is a relatively dense gas and more of it will settle closer to the Earths surface, as we move further up there will be less Oxygen pressing down and therefore the air pressure will also decrease.
