N a neutral calcium atom, there are 20 protons, 20 neutrons, and 20 electrons. If a calcium atom loses 2 electrons, what would be the calcium's atom's charge?

    Calcium would have the Charge + 2, but it is rare as the 2nd electron would be removed from a completely filled orbital which would be very stable.
