How do the tilt of earths axis and earths movements around the sun cause seasons?

    Alright so here is my best explanation. Imagine you are roasting a marshmallow. You turn it to toast the sides evenly, and the side away from the fire is cooler than the side facing it. The Earth is in a similar situation. The Earth is tilted so it rotates on an angle. When the northern hemisphere tilts towards the sun during rotation, the southern hemisphere faces away so therefore seasons occur.

    For example when the northern hemisphere is experiencing summer it is tilting toward the sun and the Southern Hemisphere is experiencing winter and is tilting away from the sun
