Von neumann model is a computer architecture model that has the ability to store program instructions in memory along with the data on which the instructions are operated.

    Explanation:

It is a computer architecture in which the program and data are stored in same memory. The Von neumann model consists of a CPU, memory and I/O devices.

This architecture functions as the program is stored in the memory and the CPU fetches the instructions from the memory and instructions are executed.

In the central processing unit it has ALU, CU and variety of registers. Registers are the storage area where all datas are stored before it is processed. In ALU performs logical operations and control unit controls the operations of ALU, memory and input and output devices. Buses are used to connect all the internal components of CPU and memory.
