    The correct sentence would be, "As far as I know, it's starting right after school." It's is used as a conjunction. It combines it and is. If the sentence does not sound right using it is, then it is wrong. Here is an explanation using one of the sentences above, "I think the dog left it is bone under the chair. " That sounds wrong, therefore it is wrong.
