The symbol from the play "A Raisin in the Sun" that represents the strong will of the Younger family despite of all the difficulties they face is Mama's plant. Upon appearing onstage, she walked towards the plant, talked about how it never gets enough light and water, and took care of it just like how she cared for her family.
