How does choice of narrator affect characterization

The choice of narration can affect characterization, this is how;

When using a first person narration it is the main character that is speaking and the main character can't know others people thoughts, there for it is only telling the main characters side of the story.

when using normal narration the narrator knows and sees all so the narrator can tell what the main character is feeling and the other characters.
