Parallellism can occur on many levels: phonetically, syntactically (word groups, phrase, clause), compositionally (stanzaic, paragraphic, chapters) thematically, etc (basically all elements of the narrative).

parallellism is a way og enhancing clarity and important by adding more focus to that section through pattern-organizing, that is the technique's function. It takes advantage of the correlation between perceived beauty and processing fluency.

in the question at hand it's a matter of syntactic and/or paragraphic parallellism. make a mind map. circle three qualities. see if you can link them to each other. figure out if you want the pattern to be based on words, phrasal structures, or clausal types.

ps: don't forget that chiasmus--or it's close rethorical cousin, the 'x' pattern--is also a case of (inverse) parallelism, highly effective if your goal is to create an assertive, believable tone due to its self-enclosing structure.
