    Personification

    The watchful night-wind, as it went

    Creeping along from tent to tent,

    And seeming to whisper, "All is well!"

    Here, the poet compares the wind blowing at the night to the watchman, who keeps walking and whispers "All is well"

    2. Simile

    A line of black, that bends and floats

    On the rising tide, like a bridge of boats.

    In the lines above the poet is comparing the the black line with the bridges of the boat. The usage of words"Like" to draw resemblance indicate the usage of simile.

    As it rose above the graves on the hill,
