Read the excerpt from "Freedom Riders." "Are you all right?" A woman's voice asked. I jumped, surprised at being spoken to. And then I kind of jumped again when I saw who was speaking. Three things hit me at once about the woman sitting down next to me. She was younger than most of the others, closer to my age if not quite as young. And she was pretty. And she was white. I had known that some of the riders would be white, but still it felt strange to speak to her. Which words from the excerpt evoke a sense of uneasiness? Check all that apply. strange younger spoken surprised jumped closer

I believe the words from the excerpt that evoke a sense of uneasiness are strange, surprised, and jumped.

Uneasiness means that a person is feeling uncomfortable or slightly afraid - and thus the words I chose I believe are perfect to portray such an emotion. If something is strange, it is usually bad, and if you jump and are surprised, you don't really feel happy about it.
