Rocks are formed at convergent plate tectonics.

    Explanation:

The 'movement of Earth's crust' through convection currents is known as Plate Tectonics. There are two types of plate tectonics - Convergent and Divergent plate boundaries. Divergent plate boundaries occur when the magma rises to the upper surface. Convergent plate boundaries occur when cooled rock - sedimentary rock becomes much denser and sinks back to the mantle of the Earth. Over a period of time, this crust melts and rises to the surface causing eruption of a volcano.
