Blue Supergiant stars start off as regular stars, except that they will begin to veer off from the normal evolution of a star and start to form heavy metals on its surface. Then, when the star's hydrogen core is depleted, it begins hydrogen shell burning. It burns through its fuel extremely quickly, brightly, and is very hot. It burns so quickly that it eventually collapses in in itself and results in a supernova, and it can sometimes form a neutron star or a black hole.
