    Yes, the sun rotates ... in a very interesting way:

    Since no part of the sun is solid, there's no reason it has to rotate all in one piece,

    and it doesn't. The rotation is fastest near the sun's equator, where it completes

    a full rotation in about 24.5 days. As you look farther from the equator, toward the

    poles, the rotation speed decreases, and near the poles, a full rotation takes

    almost 30 days.

    The rotation is in the direction of the sun's west to east, same as on Earth. When

    we watch sunspots from the Earth, the spots move from left to right across the sun.

    One more comment on the matter: The structure of a sentence is usually enough to

    tell that it's a question. But if there's ever a doubt, one question mark is enough to flag it.

    It doesn't take 42 of them.
