The correct answer is - (2) Allegheny Plateau.

All of the eleven Finger Lakes are located on the Allegheny Plateau that cuts across the New York state in a southwest-northeast direction. These lake have gotten their name because of their appearance, they are resembling human fingers, all of them are long and thin with pretty much south-north direction. They are excellent example of glacial lakes and one of the most attractive natural beauties in the region. The lakes that compose the eleven Finger Lakes are: Otisco, Skaneateles, Owasco, Cayuga, Seneca, Keuka, Canandaigua, Honeoye, Canadice, Hemlock, and Conesus Lake. The biggest, longest, and deepest of them all are Cayuga Lake and Seneca Lake.
