The correct answer is - A. It is the largest tourist destination in Spain.

Catalonia is very important to Spain because of multiple reasons, but the biggest reason is that Catalonia brings in the biggest income of any Spanish province by being an world known very popular tourist destination. It has beautiful coastline with lots of long attractive beaches on the Mediterranean sea, pleasant climate, one of the most beautiful cities Barcelona that has lots of stuff to offer to the tourists, from the old gothic architecture to the excellent nightlife and parties. Also Barcelona is the home of one of the most popular football clubs in the world which just makes Catalonia even more attractive and lots of people actually have it on their bucket lists just for that reason.

I would say that A and B would be the correct answers. Catalonia has 16% of Spain's population. It has one of the most sought cities for tourists or Barcelona and good beaches. It has 1/5 of the Spanish GDP. It has mountains (the Pyrennes, rolling hills and plains.
