How does deposition alter the surface of land?

A. Large rocks are broken into smaller pieces that are easily moved to new locations.

B. Small rock fragments can no longer be moved to new locations.

C. Deltas or new hills alter the landscape as a result of this process.

D. A sand dune can be moved or a shoreline changed as this process carries particles from one location to another.

    C. deltas are a result of deposition. it looks like a triangle at the mouth of a river
