A new predator is hunting the local population of birds. Some of these species of birds have lighter-colored feathers, which make it harder for the new predator to spot them. According to natural selection, what is likely to occur in the next few years?

    According to natural selection, within a few years depending on how fast the predator can reproduce, its offspring would possess an eyesight which aids it in recognising lighter colors better.
